What to expect for your full service move.

Inclusions, exclusions, payment terms, cancellation policy, and prohibited items for full service moving.

Inclusions and exclusions

Included

Loading at origin and unloading at destination. Includes disassembly and reassembly of all items that must be taken apart in order to move safely.

A full pack includes packing all items into boxes, including TVs, mattresses, lamps, and wall art or mirrors. If you choose to do the packing yourself, you are responsible for putting those items into boxes.

Excluded

Does not include handling of special items such as crating or moving bulky items. Does not include removing any items from walls or doors, such as TVs, drapery rods, or mirrors. Does not include debris pickup.

Potential charges

Sometimes location features make moving take longer, including elevators, stairs, and not being able to park the truck near your home. Some items require special handling. After connecting with a Cend move expert, Cend will let you know if any additional charges apply.

Move day

You, or a designated representative who is 18 years or older, are required to be available between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for the scheduled move day or days. The crew arrival window will be provided the business day prior to service.

Legal stuff and important information

Payment terms: After going through the steps to get your online estimate, Cend will be in touch within one business day to get a few more details and then send you a personalized quote. When you are ready to book, Cend will securely collect your payment details as you sign your quote. For a hassle-free experience, Cend will automatically charge 50% of the quoted amount to your card three business days before your scheduled pickup and the remaining balance three business days prior to delivery.

Cancellation policy: Cend knows plans can change. If you need to cancel within 48 hours of your service date, up to 50% of your payment may be retained. For schedule changes made with less than one business day's notice, a service attempt fee will apply.

Terms and conditions: Available at Terms & Conditions.

Prohibited items

For your safety and peace of mind, certain items cannot go the distance. It is against the law, and not safe, for Cend to move anything flammable, explosive, or corrosive. If prohibited items are included in your shipment, all coverage protection will be void.

Propane, butane, and scuba tanks are a no-go, even if they have been emptied or professionally purged. The U.S. Department of Transportation classifies these containers as hazardous materials, which means they cannot travel with household goods.

Cend is unable to transport liquids that could freeze in transit and cannot take responsibility for damage caused by liquids.
