Included
- Packing and loading at a residence with normal access on the ground floor
- Disassembly and reassembly of items that must be taken apart in order to move safely, with the exception of specialty items
- Normal export and import formalities
- Door-to-door transport including freight services
- Delivery to residence with normal access at ground floor
Freight rates are subject to change by carriers at any time. Cend reserves the right to adapt rates accordingly and will advise should any increase be advised by the carriers.
Excluded
- Export and import formalities not typical to every shipment, including inspections, quarantine, fumigation, demurrage or detention charges, additional port charges associated with customs delays, and administration costs for bonded clearance
- Costs related to inherited goods, commercial goods, returned goods, and any other items outside standard used household goods
- Duties and taxes
- Difficult access requiring shuttles, parking permits, long carry, stair carry, or elevator charges
- Third-party services for difficult disassembly or assembly of furniture, including IKEA furniture, German Schranks, swing sets, and similar items
- Crating or handling of pianos, safes, and other heavy objects
- Valet, electrician, or handyman service
- One-time warehouse handling charge in or out
- Mileage in excess of 100 miles round trip
Move day
You, or a designated representative who is 18 years or older, are required to be available between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for the scheduled move day or days. The crew arrival window will be provided the business day prior to service.
Legal stuff and important information
Payment terms: After your online estimate, Cend will be in touch within one business day to gather details and send a personalized quote. When you are ready to book, Cend will securely collect your payment details as you sign your quote. Cend will automatically charge 50% of the quoted amount three business days before scheduled pickup and the remaining balance five business days after pickup.
Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel within 48 hours of your service date, up to 50% of your payment may be retained. For schedule changes made with less than one business day's notice, a service attempt fee will apply.

Prohibited items
It is against the law, and not safe, for Cend to move anything flammable, explosive, or corrosive. If prohibited items are included in your shipment, all coverage protection will be void.
- Acids, adhesives, aerosols, alcohol or wine, ammonia, ammunition, anti-freeze, batteries, bleach, butane tanks, and car batteries
- Charcoal briquettes, chemicals, chemistry sets, cleaners, construction material, darkroom chemicals, disinfectants, fertilizer, fire extinguishers, firewood, fireworks, fuel, and gasoline
- Gun reloading supplies, hover boards, kerosene, lamp oil, lighter fluid, liquid cleaners, loaded guns, matches, motor oil, nail polish, and nail polish remover
- Paint thinner, paints, perishable items, pesticides, petroleum products, poisons, polishes, pool chemicals, pressurized containers, propane tanks, and scuba tanks
- Shellac, solvents, Sterno, varnishes, weed killer, welding gases, wood stains, and liquids that might freeze in transit
Propane, butane, and scuba tanks cannot travel with household goods, even if emptied or professionally purged. Liquids that could freeze in transit cannot be included, and Cend is not liable for damage caused by liquids.
